Going to see the new Star Trek movie this afternoon. I’ve never been a huge trekster, but, the first now Star Trek movie was pretty decent, so my hopes are relatively high for this one. Plus, Benedict Cumberbatch is in it, and I LOVE HIM! He is so great.

I’ve been back in Canada for almost 1 year now. We had been living in Qatar for 3 years. I still don’t feel adjusted to Canada, but am grateful to not be in Qatar. I cannot begin to describe how much I loathe that country. I haven’t written much about it since I left. I feel a bit scarred from the experience, in a way. What a horrible place. Human rights do not exist there, racism is blatant and institutionalized, so many people are treated like complete and under shit by cruel and brutal people. Money has completely corrupted the country. I just could go on and on about how horrible the place was, but I barely know where to start, what to focus on, or where to stop. I feel such a complete hatred of the country.
